Free Children's Activities

The Lyndhurst Turkey Fair is committed to providing a free day of fun for children. We have many fun activities for children of all ages.


At the Children's Centre....

The children's centre is located on Ford Street and will have many free activities including:

  • rides (11 am on)
  • face & nail painting
  • Chuckles the Clown balloon artist (11:30 am - 2:30 pm)
  • crafts
  • games
  • pony rides (11 am on)
  • petting zoo (11 am on)
  • free children's draw entry

Canadian Raptor Conservancy Birds of Prey Show (sponsored by The Post) TBA

Little Ray's Reptile Farm - located on Jonas St. from 11 am on

Kids' Fishing Contest - located at the dock from 11 am - 1 pm

Historical Display - see how the village was in olden days. Demonstrations include spinning and blacksmithing. Located at the United Church.

Kids' train ride sponsored by Elgin Bowling Lanes.


Free Children's Draw - tickets will be drawn at 5 pm
